We survived!!

Duncan & I both survived our first weekend alone :)  We even left the house!

Yesterday was good - Duncan has returned to waking up at 3 am (which works for me, especially during the week).  So no 7 hour nights but that's okay.  So we were up at 3, had our meds at 6 and a full bottle at 7 or 7:30.  Then another nap and up for the day around 9:30 or 10.  It was lovely!

We hung out, read books, cuddled and then went to a baseball game with our friend Erin.  Duncan behaved for most of the game.  He got to see his cousin Thomas and Auntie Mary.  (we need to come up with a nickname for Auntie Mary...)  We only managed about 90 minutes but had a good time.  Plus I got to catch up with Erin which was AWESOME :)

Then to bed.  Aaron sent us a text around 11 - we were both asleep but it was very sweet.

Today was much the same except I've had a headache most of the day so it's been very quiet.  And no baseball game.  Tomorrow is the last game of the season so we'll make it to that one.  We haven't gone as much as we wanted but we went enough.  Next year is the last year we can get away with only 2 tickets so we'll revel in our last year of "cheap" seats.

Duncan is hanging out in his bouncy chair (which is a God-send, Thanks Mary!!).  He's talking to the animals.  It's terribly cute.  Hopefully some of the cute came through on the video.

A First

I'm almost smiling at my momma

was a perfect gentleman for the picnic.  He flirted and giggled and cooed at everyone :)

After the picnic was another story.  The temperature maxed out at about 97.  Waaay too hot for Duncan.  And Duncan's parents.  So we were all a bit grumpy after we got home.  Then Duncan was up and fussy until about midnight.  It was a rough night for Aaron.

However, the next two nights Duncan slept for 7 hours each night!!!  Which was great for Aaron.  I still needed to be up at 3ish to get to work at 5 but my boys were taken care of.  And this morning I got to sleep until 4:45 because I'm blessed with being able to work from home on Fridays so I didn't have to get ready or anything.  No one cares if you're in your jammies when you're at home.

It's really fun because Aaron still takes care of Duncan until I'm done with work.  Watching the two of them rocks my world.  My two favorite guys hanging out and playing and chatting together.  Absolutely beautiful.

Daddy & Duncan

This is my first weekend alone with my boy.  Aaron is off to Seattle for his "Mancation."  It's the fourth year he and 5 friends have gone.  It's a great get-away for him and after this summer he DEFINITELY deserves it!  (I go on my girls weekend at the end of September)   So Duncan and I are on our own :)  Should be fun!!!  I'm headed to one or two baseball games, depending on how Duncan does.  It's only supposed to be in the mid-70's all weekend which is perfect for taking babies to baseball games.  My friend Erin is going with us tomorrow so it will be great fun to catch up!!!  And baseball players.  I mean baseball...

I sort of need to apologize for not keeping up on the blog.  I type sort of because it's not my fault.  We've been having intermittent internet in the evenings and it's usually been right when I finally sit down to type.  So it's not my fault but Qwest's.  I did, finally, charge the phone attached to the landline so I can call because I'm not using cell phone minutes to call them.  Now I just need to get the energy to call.

Have I mentioned how grateful I am when I have time to both eat a warm dinner and get a full pumping done?  It makes me feel like such a good mom...I can keep myself healthy and feed my baby.  You might notice I didn't mention cleaning or washing or anything like that.  I've re-prioritized a lot of things.

When we were first married, you could've eaten off any floor in the apartment.  I was meticulous.  Okay, obsessive.  Then I realized my tendencies were harming my relationship with my beloved.  I started to relax my standards and stopped holding Aaron to them.  It made for a much happier couple.

Once again, my standards have changed.  I make sure there are clean bottles, clean pumping supplies and try to ensure, if I have time/energy, any dishes in the sink get washed.  That's about it.  I clean up my "nest" (the area around my rocking chair & laptop) about once a week.  I try not to be too much of a pig.  But my focus is my boy.  And my husband.  So if you come over, please lower your expectations :)  It's a very lived-in house.

10 fingernails

I managed to cut all 10 of Duncan's fingernails.  Previously we were able to pretty much tear them off but now they're a bit thicker so I had to pull out the nail scissors.  No way was I going to try using the nail clippers.  I have a scar on my right thumb where I wiggled and Mom accidentally cut me.  I'm trying to avoid that with Duncan.  We'll see if I'm successful in not cutting Duncan with the scissors.  So far, so good!

Duncan's still a bit under the weather from his shot.  So probably no baseball game tonight.  Plus I'm tired.  He's been quiet and wanting to be held most of the day.  He's resting now.

Hopefully he's doing better tomorrow.  It's my team's summer party at Steve's house and we're all going.  I'd rather have a happy, smiley boy than a wee beastie.  We'll see :)  I think he'll be back to his smiley self tomorrow.  Because I really, really, really don't want to drive 25 miles each way with a crying baby.  Not my idea of a good time.  Fortunately, I'm bringing my specialty:  store bought something.  I debated making no-bake cookies but Duncan needed snuggles and darn it, that will always trump kitchen stuff.

As some of you know, I love baseball.  A lot.  We have the baseball package so we can watch all the games.  It's wonderful.  Interestingly (curiously??) we get a lot of commercials for Geico.  I like the new bunch - the Randy Johnson commercials make me giggle out loud.  But I have a question:  Where, exactly, is "Namby-pampy land"??  (Former drill sergeants make bad therapists).  I think someone posed this question on Facebook a couple weeks ago but I can't remember who & would like to know :)

The wee beastie is waking up and needs fed  :)  I do so love this boy!!!!

Nine pounds, six and a half ounces!

We made it to another baseball game last night.  We wanted to get the set of this year's baseball cards.  So we hauled our collective keysters to the ballpark.  Duncan did pretty well.  Plus he got to hang out with Grandma Kay & Thomas so how could it be bad?  We left around 8:30, though, since I had to be up at 3 :)

Today we had another appointment with the endocrinologist.  I had questions answered and Duncan had to get a shot.  So my poor boy has had a rough afternoon.  We've been cuddling and giving him milk whenever he wakes up so he's comforted.  He'll be better tomorrow but it may be a long night.  He still hasn't smiled for the doctor.  But he's now 9 pounds, 6 1/2 ounces!!!  My little guy is growing and growing!

Aaron & Gabe have take to calling Duncan's Bumpo his throne since it looks so huge when he's in it.  Plus he gets a look on his face like "What am I doing here?  And what are you doing here?"  It's very comical.

And now, I need to go to bed.

Goodness

Today was a very trying day.  Well, trying afternoon.  Duncan decided that he wants to be held.  And that's it.  Held or fed or held or held.  And the crying and fussing.  Sigh.  But then Aaron came back from work and I ran away for an hour or so.  I do so love that man!!!  But, as you can tell from the photo, Duncan is still so cute!!

This week was very fun.  I survived work (and they survived me).  Duncan survived not having Momma around.  Aaron survived not having his wife around.  I survived Aaron going to work after I came home from work.  All told, it was a good week.

Grandma came over to visit on Thursday.  She hung out with Duncan for about 4 hours and boy did he enjoy it!  He cooed and chatted and giggled for her.  It was adorable.  She also brought wings.  Yummy wings :)
Grandma and Duncan

I grabbed a Bumpo at Target tonight.  Duncan sat up in it and everything!  Hopefully he likes it.  Tonight isn't a good night to test stuff on him because he doesn't really like anything.
See how big I'm getting??
I'm feeling much better.  My most recent bout of mastitis is gone, thank goodness!  My PPD meds are still fantastic and I'm dealing really well with returning to work.  All is going well :)

The video is of Duncan talking to his jungle friends :)

So Tired

I've survived 3 full days of work.  I am soooo tired.  Getting up at 3 am is ridiculous...but worth it because Duncan gets to stay home with Aaron.  But I can't wait until I'm used to these hours!  Hopefully it'll only take a week or two.

Duncan and Aaron are doing great during the day.  They hang out, get some stuff done and play.  Duncan's giggling more and smiling lots.  He still does the Jekyll/Hyde thing but that's to be expected with a little one :)

Duncan sort of rolled over tonight.  Aaron helped a bit and Duncan was NOT impressed.  As evidenced by the fussing in the video...Or you can watch it with the sound off & it just looks cute :)

I am so grateful for my co-workers who are putting up with me this week!  And Duncan stories.  Again and again.  They're very patient with me :)  I really appreciate it, especially until I get used to the new hours.  I wish I wasn't off caffeine.  But I've managed to only have an occasional soda so Duncan doesn't get too much caffeine.

It's been nice this week.  No doctor appointments!!  Next week Duncan has a follow-up with the endocrinologist so only one.  So far.  Hopefully we'll be down to just one appointment a month after this.  Fingers crossed!

I discovered two things while shopping this weekend:
  1.  Pepsi Throwback is delicious & is cheapest at Winco
  2.  Pretzel M&M's are AWESOME!!!!

First day back

I may be a bit blurry but I'm still pretty cute...

Today went really well.  I actually didn't cry all day!!  Or call home to check on the boys.  I'm very proud of myself!!

I think it was easier because I knew Duncan was safe and loved at home with his Daddy.  Have I mentioned how blessed we are to be able to avoid outside childcare?  I am very lucky.

It took me all day to get through my emails.  I had over 1200.  Yikes!  I also had to look at the directions on how to run my morning reports.  Apparently I lost some of the rote memories :)  I was very happy to see people, though.  I'd missed my friends at work!

Tomorrow is the first day of trading vehicles and the baby.  I'll drive the Santa Fe to work and Aaron will bring Duncan down at 1:30 or so in the CR-V and then he'll take the Santa Fe to work and I'll bring Duncan home.  I think it'll work out pretty well.

Tonight's video is just Duncan being cute.  Hopefully I uploaded the correct one :)  I took 3...

Back to work

Well, tomorrow I go back to work.  Sigh.  I'm still torn.  Oh well :)  Only 8 hours or so away from my boys.

I feel like it's the first day of school.  I have my outfit laid out, my pump is ready & my supplies are in the sterilizer.  I have my lunch planned & will pack it up later tonight.  I know which car I'm taking.  I'm as ready as I can be.  I suppose.

I was checking & the 3 Starbucks that are on my way to work (one is slightly out of the way but still close) all open at 5 or 6 am.  I'll be at work at 5 am.  Sigh.  Oh well :)  I guess I'll have to make my own coffee.  What a concept!!!  (if anyone reads this & wants to bring coffee, decaf vanilla latte...iced or hot since beggars can't be choosers)

Duncan has been a very good boy today.  Smiles and coos and chatting.  Granted, he's been talking to the baby in the mirror but it's still very cute.

Duncan had a bath tonight.  I still can't believe how much he likes his bath.  Fortunately he's gotten better about getting his diaper changed.  He no longer screams which makes it a more pleasant experience for his parents :)

He has also discovered how to self soothe.  He puts his hand in his mouth and calms himself.  It's a very good growth sign.  He also likes to lick the fur on one of his wrist rattles.  It's a little chicken with a tuft of hair that must feel different on his tongue.  I haven't managed to get a picture of it yet.  I'm trying, though!

He gave us his first giggle tonight.  Quite possibly the cutest thing EVER!  Now our mission is to get him to do it again.  And again.  And again.

I'm not sure how much blogging I'll get done in the next week.  I'll try but it all depends on my energy level and how much Duncan needs me :)

All quiet on the Thursday front

It's been a lovely, quiet Thursday.  Duncan been a sleepy boy so I was able to run to Costco and re-stock lunch stuff for work.  I was also able to grab my prescriptions.  I feel rather productive!

Duncan's been sleeping really well at night.  He went to sleep around 10:30 or 11 and slept until 4.  Awesome.  But since we have to get his medicine in him at 6, I didn't get much sleep between the 2 feedings.  I did, however, get to sleep until 9:30 with him.  Which is good because I have another case of mastitis.  It sucks rocks.  Oh well.  At least now I know what the problem is & can call my doctor who then calls in a prescription.  I love no co-pays!!

Our new washer will be delivered tomorrow.  Thank goodness!  We've gone since Sunday without doing any baby wash.  It's getting a little nerve wracking.  Hopefully we don't go through his entire wardrobe by tomorrow!

And this will be a short post because the wee laddie is asleep and I should be too.

Shopping

I love my bath!

Today was Duncan's first shopping experience.  We had to go buy a new washing machine because ours died a hideous death.  Plus we hated it.  REALLY hated it.  It was a first generation front-load washer that washed things great but would get out of balance or get stuck on the rinse cycle and flood the basement and other joys like that.

When it died on Sunday, we weren't overly upset.  Well, mad because we had to buy a new one but glad because we got to buy a new one.  So we headed to Home Depot today because they have free delivery and removal of the old one.  Found a decent GE washer in our price range.  It'll be delivered Friday.  Hopefully Duncan doesn't go through all his clothes and burp rags by then...Otherwise, I'll be calling Lois or Nancy to borrow their washer :)

Duncan did really well on the outing.  He fell asleep at Home Depot because we left him in his car seat & just put in on the stroller.  We then went to Walmart (dun dun dun) for groceries, etc.  Duncan got to hang out with Daddy in the Baby Bjorn.  By the way - we LOVE the baby bjorn.  Very handy.  I got to push the cart :)  He did really well there, too!!  He had a little melt down at the end but that's  because it was feeding time.  So we fed him in the parking lot and then headed home.  Not too bad :)

I've been on PPD meds for almost a month now.  I can't believe how much they've helped me!  I'm so glad Aaron & I realized what was up & got help quickly.  I wasn't much of a person for a while.  Hopefully anyone else going through PPD realizes it's not their fault and that it's all chemical.  Help is out there and it's okay to ask for it.  We all want to be super-mom and don't realize that just being mom is so far beyond super :)  Especially the stay-at-home moms.  You ladies are phenomenal!!

I head back to work on Monday.  Sigh.  Fortunately Duncan doesn't have any appointments next week so I can "focus" on work.  Aaron's schedule is pretty much the opposite of mine.  He has Monday & Wednesday off and works 2 or 3 -7 or 8 on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.  I'll be working 5-1:30 Monday - Friday.  Thank goodness we don't have to put into day care!!!  I am the luckiest momma going back to work knowing that my beloved will be caring for our son!!!

Aaron was the best husband today.  I went to lay down with Duncan around 2:30 today.  Duncan didn't really want to sleep so around 3 Aaron came in and grabbed him.  At 6 I woke up...a 3 hour nap!!!  All in a row!!!  It was fantastic :)

Tummy time!
We gave Duncan a bath tonight.  The child LOVES getting a bath!  He's all smiles for us.  So he's all clean and good smelling.  We'll see how long it lasts.

The video is of Duncan just hanging out.  I haven't posted any video in a while so hopefully this will fulfill your need for video of the wee laddie :)

2 Months Old!!!!

Where did two months go?? I cannot believe my little guy is two months old today. Wow. He's grown so much!

We went to the doctor today for his 2 month checkup and shots. He's now 8 pounds, 2 ounces and 20.3 inches long! Almost double his birth weight :)

His shots went well. He fussed a bit but recovered quickly. Unfortunately he's now in the super fussy stage. He'll half wake up, cry a bit, then fall back asleep. I'm feeding him as much as he'll take and gave him some Tylenol because his temperature was creeping up. Not seriously high but enough to make him uncomfortable. I've been cuddling him and petting him most of the afternoon so he knows he's not alone. Poor bunny.

He's in good health overall :-) He's responding really well to his meds. We need to grab some baby books next time we're at the store so we can read more to him but I think we'll do that tomorrow on Aaron's day off. Or we'll head to the 24-hour Walmart after his 3 am wake-up. Might as well take advantage of it, I guess!! Maybe I'll go after the 6 am instead. Starbucks is open then & I can get a decaf latte. Hmmm...

More baseball

Thomas the bat boy
First time in the Baby Bjorn. He really does like it...

Duncan made it to 2 baseball games in a row! We made sure to go to last night's game because cousin Thomas was a bat boy. Thomas did an AWESOME job and hustled like a champ. Hopefully he didn't pick up as many curse words this year as he did the last time he was a bat boy :)

The baseball games kind of overstimulate Duncan. He's been awake now for 7 hours or so. And is fighting sleep like a mad man. So we're filling him with lots of warm milk and then he will sleep. Plus it's close to time for all of us to go to bed. He goes to sleep faster when we're in there with him. Which will probably make for some tough times when he moves to his own room but we'll cross that bridge later.

Mighty D has been much more energetic lately. The meds seem to have helped with that. Or he's just getting bigger. Either way, it's terribly cute. Today he almost laughed...Aaron was tickling him and Duncan gave a huge grin and said "HA". Close!

Today's baseball game was fun. It was one of 2 afternoon games the Indians have had this year. My team from work came to the game so we sat with them (it was in the shade). It was great to see them and catch up. Plus we got to show off Duncan which is always fun!

Tomorrow is Mighty D's 2 month check up. I think we're due for shots. I think it will be easier than the cortisol blood tests - that took over 45 minutes. Shots are quick. For the kiddo. Not for the parents.

I only have 6 days left of maternity leave. I'm torn. I'm a work-a-holic and am really looking forward to getting back to work. I know. It's terrible. I also don't want to leave my guys. But I am so so so so so lucky that I'm leaving my baby with my beloved. I won't have as much anxiety (maybe) over leaving him. But work will be good :) Plus I have to pay off the doctor bills somehow!

It's time for bed for all us Tinsleys :) After I pump...sigh...

More peace, more quiet

Today has been lovely. Nice and not busy. Which is good because I've had a touch of a headache most of the day. Stupid smoke in the air. C'est la vie!

Miss Nancy came by for a visit today. Duncan, of course, wouldn't wake up to show her his beautiful eyes or talk to her. But he cuddled and napped on her for almost an hour (which made me happy! He hasn't slept much today). Plus she brought brownies & monkey bread :) Thanks bunches!!!!

Duncan has been cluster eating and cluster sleeping again. He'll nap for about an hour then be hungry then nap for an hour...you get the idea. He's been sleeping pretty well at night so this is okay during the day. For now. I hope it's temporary. At least until he's 12 or 13 then he'll eat and eat and eat!

The weather has broken and it's only about 85 today. Much better than yesterday's 95. Hopefully it stays a bit cool so we can all go to the baseball game on Monday afternoon and not fry. I think we're headed to the game tomorrow night, too. No way I'm attempting tonight's game. I'd have to take Mighty D by myself and fight a crowd on fireworks night. Not gonna happen. Aaron would've met us there. It's always much quieter on Sunday night.

I've been reading books on my Kindle lately. This fantastic invention has made Mom-ness so much easier! I can read Duncan stories from it (there are lots of fairy tales out there) and only need one hand. I can hold him with the other hand. Best Mother's Day present :)

And now, I'm a bit amazed. My son has slept long enough for me to eat dinner and pump for 20 minutes! Whew! It's a bit stressful trying to fit pumping in while Aaron's at work. I obsess that Duncan will wake up and need me and I'm attached to this bloody machine. don't get me wrong. I appreciate the machine it just gets tedious after a bit...Totally worth it, though, for a healthier baby boy!!! Every time I start getting frustrated by it I look over at my sleeping baby and the world is just right. I'll need to print some pictures to put in my bag for work.

And now, I'd best stop blogging and be constructive. Sigh :)

Quiet

Duncan and Captain America

Oh my goodness. A day with nothing scheduled. Well, Aaron had to go to work but that's totally different from having to go to an appointment. It was blissful! And good because Mighty D turned into Mr. Hyde and decided that he didn't want to go back to sleep at 4 am. Noooo. It was time to be awake and fussy.

This is when I discovered why God gives you a helpmate. I had nothing but respect for single parents before. But I couldn't imagine having a baby on your own. Between the two of us, we finally got him back to sleep around 5:30 (he'd been up about 3 hours by then). Then he was up again just before 9. Not as long as we'd have liked him to sleep but beggars can't be choosers.

Duncan did pretty well today. He was a bit fussy this afternoon and has again been cluster feeding but we think it might be because of the medication. Or he's growing. Or he's just a baby :)

I got to get out of the house for a bit today. We had to get some checks in the bank and get a different thermometer. Because Duncan doesn't produce cortisol (the hormone that allows your body to react to stress), we have to be cautious if he gets a fever. And the thermometer we had is good but not fast. So I went to Costco for a temporal thermometer. We like it! Much easier & faster.

Today was also the first day of thyroid meds. No real difference so far but I'm not sure what to expect. He'll probably be more alert...I think. We'll see!

We've gone 4 nights in a row without a brady or apnea attack :) That's a very good sign. Hopefully he's outgrowing them and we'll be able to get rid of the monitor soon.

Duncan got to hang out with Miss Carly today. He was very well behaved and snuggled with her and talked to her. He didn't spit up on her. Lucky girl :) It was nice to have an adult conversation with someone other than Aaron (no offense honey). And to catch up on girl talk!!

The wee beastie is now sleeping so I should probably go & do something slightly more constructive than blogging. Or I may just go read or knit...although finishing Duncan's blanket right now seems waaaay too warm. I think the Kindle will win.

Eye Doctor

Today we got to go visit a pediatric ophthalmologist. Interesting experience. Plus we got to watch part of Toy Story 2 which is still an AWESOME movie.

Duncan's optic nerve is a bit smaller than normal. We have to watch him over the next 5 or 6 weeks to see if he favors one eye or has any odd eye movement. We can totally do that. Hopefully his vision will turn out fine. Fingers crossed! He had to have his eyes dilated which was pretty funny. He wouldn't wake up for the exam so we had to force his eyes open. Not a happy camper. Apparently we should have taken him to the eye doctor yesterday when he wouldn't sleep at all!!

Fortunately, he's been catching up on sleep today. I was able to get his bed changed and the laundry done. YAY! Plus I got a nap before Aaron went to work. Good day :)

This afternoon Miss Jane came by to visit. Mighty D gave her a very high compliment by falling asleep on her :)

I'm very excited about tomorrow. We have zero appointments. Nada, zip, zilch! That means we can all sleep in and take naps and do pretty much nothing! Yippee!

Birthday Party

Duncan loves his cousin!
Today was a very busy day (again). We woke up and went to the doctor. Aaron & I learned how to give shots, just in case Duncan needs one. Then we went to Target to get a birthday present for cousin Thomas. Then we came home for about 2 hours and then we went to Thomas' birthday dinner.

Very busy.

Which results in a very tired, over-stimulated boy. Who is fussing and generally unhappy at the moment.

He needs to go to sleep but won't. We're both trying to figure out what he needs and aren't being overly successful. He seems to want to eat which is good in some ways but wow. He's eaten a LOT in the past hour! And is still fussing. Time to go and try something new...

Nunkie Gabe!!!!

First baseball game!!

Naptime with Momma
First baseball game!!!!!
Today was a very busy day for the Tinsley family. We headed to the doctor for a blood test & doctor appointment first thing this morning. Poor Duncan had 3 heel sticks. He was very brave and did well for such a little guy.

Good news is we now know what's up with his growth. His pituitary gland doesn't function properly. So we're working with a pediatric endocrinologist who is AMAZING and we have a plan to get and keep Duncan on track :-)

This afternoon we just hung out & rested...and then Duncan got to go to his first baseball game!!!! He made it about 90 minutes before he melted down. We were pretty impressed. Next time I'll take more milk...but he looked around and flirted with the people around us. Very cute. Our friends that we sit by were very excited to finally meet him.

Now he's eating like we've never never ever fed him in his entire life. He's concentrating so hard Aaron is telling him he needs to blink. The child will totally beat anyone in a staring contest!! Hands down he is the best starer in the house.

And now we have a very over-stimulated boy who might not want to go to sleep. Could be an interesting evening. Hopefully he passes out soon and will sleep until 2 or 3...

PS: 45 minutes of singing songs and he's still awake. But he's stopped fussing and is now in his bassinet. We'll see...

12 Years

Bath time!!
I love my bath. And my daddy.
I am clean and I am tired.
Today is our 12th anniversary. It's been an awesome ride! I can't wait to see what the future brings for us :)

It's funny. When we were first married, we agreed we wouldn't discuss kids for 5 years. That way we had time to get to know each other and do things together that we wouldn't be able to do with kids.

After 5 years, we decided kids weren't in the cards. We enjoyed our life together and didn't want or need kids. We enjoyed traveling together and hanging out together and just being with each other.

After 9 years, we reconsidered. We wanted to have a child. So we started trying. For 2 years we tried. No luck. After 18 months we finally went to the doctor. Found out I have PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome). That means the walls of my ovaries were thickened because of too much insulin. I'm not diabetic or pre-diabetic, just too much insulin. So I went on meds to get my insulin under control and 3 months later we were pregnant!!!

We waited until Christmas to tell people, just in case. Fortunately, the first trimester ended right then so we knew were probably in the clear safety wise.

And just about 8 weeks ago, we had Duncan and our lives have been forever changed. I can't figure out why we didn't do this sooner. Granted, I don't think I would have been able to deal with the NICU if I was younger. I know I wasn't strong enough. But now, I wouldn't trade my Wiggly-boo for the world!!

Today was quiet. We just hung out, did laundry, bathed the baby. Nothing too exciting. It was a really nice, very peaceful day. Perfect way to spend our anniversary. Plus we had leftover pizza for our anniversary dinner. I know it sounds (reads???) weird but it was a lovely meal :)

And now, off to put a tired baby to bed.
