Fingers Crossed

GOOD NEWS!! Duncan's doctor was back today & profusely apologized for the confusion. The other doctor is fairly new & has to assume parents a) visit their babies once a day (if that) and b) will use an apnea monitor for babysitting. Duncan's doctor know that we won't do either. She's totally okay with the monitor & we're rooming in TONIGHT!!!

If all goes well, my baby will be home with me TOMORROW!!! Exactly 5 weeks after he was born. YAY!!!! But until he is in the car seat, in the car, actually away from the hospital, I won't believe it.

Since I'll be gone tonight & need to get this posted then go pack, etc it's a short post.

We can have our cell phones but they'll be set to silent so if you need us call & we'll give you a call back. If it's urgent, call the NICU and they'll put you through to us.

Please keep your fingers (and toes and eyes and hair) crossed this is our last night!!!
